7th International Conference on Functional – Structural Plant Models (FSPM2013) 9-14 June 2013 Hotel Riekonlinna, Saariselkä, Finland - www.metla.fi/fspm2013
The functional-structural plant models (FSPMs) address the complex interaction between plant architecture and biological and physical processes driving plant production and development. They combine plant architecture, molecular genetics, plant physiology, and environmental influences with computer science and mathematics. They have been applied e.g. in agricultural sciences, horticulture, forest ecology, remote sensing and analysis of plant morphogenesis.
Paper submission has been closed and all contributions have been peer-reviewed
We received 156 abstract proposals, which have now been peer-reviewed and we are composing the final programme. The conference programme will accomodate 58 oral presentations of 20 min (15 min presentation and 5 min for discussion). The session structure has been modified to reflect the abstracts submitted. Poster session will include ca. 90 posters.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings.
Special issue of Annals of Botany Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit a full paper to the FSPM2013 special issue of Annals of Botany. The full papers will be submitted to the normal peer-review of Annals of Botany.
